MIL finally found the spare engine for my wife’s bike so I hauled it to my storage unit so it doesn’t get lost again. There it will stay until we have a house next year then Michaela and I can restore her Rebel 250 to better-than-new condition and go riding! She’s wanting a teal color scheme (think 90s Honda teal) which sounds fine to me. Can even use the actual Honda paint code to make touch-ups easy!
Pretty stoked this engine has a starter and a carb on it. Unsure of the condition of it cuz I don’t think anyone has ever heard it run but hopefully we’ll be able to get one working engine out of this.

Is it weird that whenever I read “MIL” my first thought is Malfunction Indicator Lamp , and not Mother-I n-L aw ?
